Bibs

Can anyone recommend a bib that LO can't pull off? We have a variety but all the ones big enough for mealtimes are Velcro and she always pulls them off.

Thanks!

Obviously the fastenings are Velcro - not the whole bib. That'd be weird Grin

I made some using cheap tea towels. I cut a hole in one end big enough for my daughters head to go through easily. She was never left alone when eating so this was a good solution for us. Nice and long too!

@student26 that's a really good idea. Unfortunately she's got a massive head (I just checked Wink). I blame her dad Grin

Could you try the ones with the built in arms that fasten behind the neck? My LO hasn't managed to get those off because they're more like an apron. Sainsburys and Boots do them.

Silly Billyz do really good ones that popper at the neck. Not the cheapest but they wash well and I've found the sizing fairly generous so you can wear for a while.

Google "bapron" .

The ones with sleeves, that fasten with ties at the neck and round the waist. If you tie a tight bow, they can't get out of these. There are lots of this type on Amazon.

GiveHerHellFromUs · 20/01/2020 10:42

I have seen the apron ones with the arms but they look like a ball ache to clean. Are they? Like I'm happy to do if it I have to but I'd much rather have one less chore if I can just bung them in the washing machine Grin

Thanks @RaspberryBlonde I'll have a look at them!

Have a look at these from BabyBoo- they have arms and poppers at the the neck and you can sling them in the washing machine. We have a couple of their normal bibs and they're great, so I'll definitely be purchasing a few of these when we get to the weaning stage. They're not the cheapest but they do multibuy discount if you get more than one.

Modestandatinybitsexy · 20/01/2020 13:35

I bought cheap apron ones from amazon and wipe them down. It saves the ball ache of grubby sleeves and outfit changes.

They're probably not supposed to go in the wash but if they get beyond a wipe I chuck them in about once a week or so.

It was a pack of four and have lasted nearly a year, although you can't really see the design any more.

You're all amazing, thanks!
I'll look into the options Smile

Tommee tippee roll and go Bibs. Stay on and very quick to wash in the sink.
