I misunderstood the title of this - thought you meant she had the same pair on and wouldn't change them .

Meant to say, don't worry about the night time training just yet, most kids are much older than 2.11 when they crack that. Mine were more like 4.5, although it does vary.

don't worry about it yet - the night-time training is something that can only happen once children start to produce a hormone to slow down urine production at night.

My ds was 22 months and dry / clean during the day ... but 4.3 before he stopped wearing nappies at night.

It's a waste of time to even try before the hormone is produced (somebody will be along in a minute to say what it's called!)

Agree, I wouldn't bother in the least about it. If you get a few nights where the nappy is dry then you could give it a go, but other than that I wouldn't do anything.

dd2 is 3 and still wears a nappy at night

I am no expert but with dd1 I waited until the nappy was dry in the morning for a few days before I even attempted overnight

maybe around aged 3.6yrs iirc

who wants to change wet sheets when there isn't a need?

ProjectIcarusinhercar · 30/08/2007 11:38

If you get her up quickly when she wakes in the morning is she dry? Is she weeing in it before she goes to sleep?

I stopped putting nappies on at night when I realised I had been taking dry ones off for a week. No accidents. But dd was dry when she went to sleep and asked to wee in the morning. Maybe worth watching the signs first?

becklespeckle · 30/08/2007 11:40

I wouldn't even try yet! DS1 was still in nappies at night at 4 and I think this is quite common.

Biglips · 30/08/2007 11:40

she go to the toilet before she got to bed at 7pm, but seems to be weeing overnight.

ok ill hang on
