To see GP for toddler rash (non urgent)

My 2 year old DD has a rash on her legs, it's been there for a few weeks now. Absolutely fine otherwise, no signs of illness (bit of a snotty nose but that's the norm this season!).
I think the rash could be something like eczema or similar. Its mainly behind her knees and on her shins. Also on her elbows and a small bit on her tummy. Skin feels dry and scaly. She scratches it but not too badly. It seems to flare up when she has a bath or gets hot - looks more red. I've been applying E45 which definitely helps. In the morning when she's cooler and has had cream on all night it seems much better.

There's conflicting advice online as to whether it warrants a GP appt. She had a similar winter rash last year on her eye and cheek which eventually just went.

To book a GP appt or visit to the pharmacy? Or just continue moisturizing and wait til it goes?

I would definitely pop into the pharmacy. If they think there is anything more to be done they’ll refer you on to the GP.
Sounds like a bit of hydrocortisone cream is needed, which your pharmacist will be able to prescribe. Good luck

Try the pharmacy first.

Thanks both! Will try the pharmacy tomorrow.
