I just can't stand see him crying. Does anyone else have the same situation?

I'm not in the same situation but are you looking for support, tips on stopping or tips on continuing through the tiredness?

Mine is 2 and I still breastfeed but usually not at night unless he’s ill. When he wakes at night I just tell him to lie down, he cries sometimes but he does go back to sleep. Now he’s got the message there’s no milk at night he wakes less and goes back more easily. I still breastfeed on demand during the day.

Yes. I fed both my boys until nearly 3. In the end I was so tired of it.

Ds1 - stopped easily. Every time he woke I popped his dummy in.

Ds2 was harder as he didn't take a dummy. In the end I told him we had to stop as all the milk had gone. We took him to buy a special big boy toys during day. He cried for a couple of nights but each time he woke crying I gave lots of cuddles, peppa pig and he was absolutely fine. He now at 3.5 chats about it happily but doesn't want it. He sleeps sooooooo much better.

It's hard for a few days but as they can be reasoned with I think it's probably easier than with a younger child
