Does thew = through? How often is she being sick? Do you think she's keeping much down? If you are still worried about dehydration then call 111 to see what they say

Is it bronchitis or bronchiolitis? The latter is associated with young children and babies. Dd had it but was refluxy anyway. Advice was feed little and often as the virus makes them tire easily. Also keep upright after feed and use a humidifier. If she is sucking in around ribs or cannot keep milk down go back to hospital.

Thank you for you reply's the diagnosis was Bronchiolitis rsv positive. I think she is keeping most of her feed down, as she not always sick it's more when she coughs and when she has a long feed, her breathing is fine and no sucking in, but going call 111 and see what they suggest thank you for you advice.

My baby was sick after lots of coughing with bronchiolitis, it’s a normal response. As others have said if you’re worried it’s causing dehydration go back to hospital. X

I just got out of hospital with my baby after having RSV, sounds exactly the same as your situation, she’s 3 months old, I’m sorry to hear you’re going through the same thing! Flowers It’s traumatic, isn’t it?

My baby was still sick a few times after being sent home, and hated anything being near her nose, she’s finally getting over it almost 2 weeks later, still coughing. It feels never ending! Everyone’s right though about the advice, phone 111 or even just phone the hospital ward you were on, they would probably see her straight away if concerned, the hospital told me to phone and could come straight back if I was concerned about her. Hope your baby recovers quickly and you get some rest, it’s so stressful.

Thank you. I've now spoke to 111 they told me to keep an eye on her and if I'm concerned to ring them again.
Yes it's very traumatic I've been constantly checking on her I've been so scared.
