Hi all. Just a quick question about formula storage. Is it ok to make a few bottles up and store them in fridge and heat up when needed?

They don’t advise that... when I was looking for a childminder though one told me that I should prepare my daughters bottles for the day to be stored in the fridge. So I suppose it can be done but it is not recommended...

They can be made up with hot water and cooled quickly and then stored for up to 24 hours in the main part of the fridge. It's not the ideal way to do it but it is acceptable

Yep that's what i always used to do. Made them allthe night before then storedin fridge.

Quicker to warm up than cool down

Sorry but what's the reason for them to be cooled quickly? Can they not cool down just in a room?

Because bacteria in the powder that hasnt been killed off multiplies quickly at room temperature so it's best to cool quickly and put in the fridge

I did it. It’s not recommended though.
