Musicals for 2 year old

My 2.5 dd is currently obsessed with the CBeebies stage shows. Iv lost count of how many times we've watched the cbeebies proms and now she's on to the Hansel and gretal Christmas show. She bloody loves them.
Never been a big fan of musicals myself and have got no idea.
She likes a few Disney films but I think she's more into actual stage shows.
Do you guys know of any musicals or stage shows I could show her that would be appropriate for a 2 year old, that I could pick up on dvd?

My dm keeps suggesting pantomime for my 18mo who loves performances on TV. Might be worth a try.

My 2.5 year old DD loves Mary Poppins.

I would try a pantomime as they are aimed at families, then when she's older try a musical.

Can you get previous years CBeebies shows?

They've done Peter Pan, Snow Queen, Thumbelina.

There was a Mr Tumble stage show, Story of Mr Tumble?

Try some of the old musicals like Oklahoma ! Or seven brides for seven brothers
There might be too much talking , but there’s lots of singing and dancing

Joseph and the technicolour Dreamcast - the one with Donny Osmond in it.

Look at your local theatre... They do adaptions of popular children's books as touring stage shows, such as The Gruffalo (and live versions of TV shows like Peppa pig).

Pantomime can be a bit long and loud for toddlers

We've watched a few musicals on TV/dvd. Mine loved Joseph when he was only a little bit older. Mild nudity in the Donny Osmond one bit nothing major. Also chitty chitty bang bang and the old willy wonka (gene wilder). We've also been to local am dram pantomimes - I started with them as they're not so expensive so it wouldn't have mattered if we'd had to leave half way through.
