There are 7 lovely girls that look after my my little man. I would like to buy them a gift for Christmas. Would they like Lush gift sets or if not, what other gifts could i buy?

It’s a bit of a weird thing to have to divide up between them. Also not everyone likes Lush. I like one particular product, but the rest is not so nice, too smelly and not the best quality. Something they can share around easily is best. I tend to do a little hamper of nice coffee, tea, snacks that they can either enjoy in the staff kitchen or can divide up to take home.

I think it’s a gift that can go either way, people seem to either completely love or completely hate Lush/scented toiletries.

I second the drinks & snacks ‘hamper’ (I do mine in a sturdy gift bag). Gave one to my son’s nursery staff: coffee, flavoured coffee, tea and herbal tea, bottle of cordial, biscuits and posh popcorn/crisps) and did it for school as well. Heard it went down quite well in the office.

Bear in mind that some nurseries pool all gifts and them divvie them up between staff (including backroom staff and maintenance contractor etc who are just as much of the team but who parents so not know so well).

So I'd get a couple of nice but fairly generic items, suitable for either sex) and then make individual cards with your DS for the staff whomactually look after him.

sorry i meant i was going to get individual lush gift sets.

i am also going to get the staff room, the rest of the staff and the kitchen staff a gift too.

I really stuck with ideas. They must get loads of chocolate and biscuits etc.

Anything that was given individually, so if your key child brought you specifically a present then of course that is yours to keep. However, because soooo much chocolate/cake/biscuits were (generously) given for the staff room we had to put raffle tickets on them all and draw them for people to take home until it all ran out. It was ridiculous! If you give staff individual gifts then it should be theirs to keep.

I personally would love a lush gift set, it's very thoughtful of you!
