We all know having children can be difficult at times, but what is your favourite thing about having children/being a parent? Xmas Smile

When they run up to you and cuddle your legs :) Also when DD is in the bath grinning and laughing at me bless her!

The family moments. Like Christmas birthdays and holidays. I just love those times that are not about work, school, cleaning and routine but are about the magic, fun and knowing it's a day you will talk about for months. I love it when you are on holiday and you can focus on your kids properly with no interruptions. Some of my happiest memories are sitting on a beach chatting to my little girl as we build sandcastles. It makes me think these are the days I will smile at when I'm old lol

When you see their smiling face when you get in from work. The kisses and cuddles. The love! The stories about their day at school. Seeing their excitement at Christmas. Watching them sing at their school concerts and feeling so much pride! I could go on Smile

Holding hands
Sniffing him when he’s in my bed and I’m big spoon

Cuddles, sniffing his hair, his little pudgy fingers and cheeks. Having a little conversation about all kinds of random things and just how exciting everything in the world is through his eyes.

The hugs and adoration from them

Watching tiny little people grow from little babies into teenagers (and beyond is yet to come for me) and learn from your care and love and getting to see what funny, interesting people they become.
The laughs and the conversations.
The way that not only I have helped them to learn and grow but they have helped me to learn and grow too, every day!
The bedtime chats and cuddles, the fabulous company they are on days out and holidays, cooking for them and teaching them to cook and look after themselves as they get older.
The kind and lovely things you see them doing for others.
The confidence and kindness that grows in them that they share with the world and the feeling that the world is a that little bit better off because they’re in it.
My god they can be little buggers at times can’t they but it’s all part of learning and growing and to be perfectly honest I may momentarily dislike those moments but I wouldn’t change a single bit of it.
Sucking it all in this year as my youngest is now in year 6. The very last year of school performances and assemblies and going in for the afternoon to see their work ect.

Watching her learn new things. She surprises me every day and I love seeing her grow into her own little self.

The cuddles, the unconditional love, the way that when I say I'm proud of her she says she's proud of me too and can spell out all her reasons why
