Water trapped in vagina

So this is rather embarrassing but I had to ask because I’m getting a little concerned. I had my babies almost 3 years ago. I’ve not had anything wrong with my hooha (apart from a third degree tear, ouch) but for years and even before I had kids I think every time I take a bath water leaks out. I have to forcibly push water like I’m peeing out of my vagina so I suppose my question is. Is that normal? Is that a normal thing to happen to ladies? I have severe health anxiety so I suppose that doesn’t help but I just wanna know if it’s normal or do I have something to be seen about?

Pretty normal I would think.

Selfsettling3 · 26/11/2019 20:45

Normal for me.

Muffintop8 · 26/11/2019 20:46

Thank god. I was starting to freak out

Normal here too.

TwatCat · 26/11/2019 20:49

Totally normal. Blush

Summerfalls · 26/11/2019 20:49

Normal here too, don’t think I got it pre birth or I didn’t notice but definately after. Also had 3rd degree tear.

FrappeLatte · 26/11/2019 20:52

I think this is due to the shape of the inside of your vagina... it kind of dips to form a little ... pocket? Or cup maybe? Grin This is why when you get out of bed in the morning during your period, you sometimes get a ‘gush’. Well, I do anyway.

SexNamesRFab · 26/11/2019 21:40

There was a thread on here about it happening after swimming once. As a swimmer with 2 kids, this was very relieved to read the replies and find it completely normal.

DaphneFanshaw · 26/11/2019 21:42

Sponge vag...? I thought everyone had it.

loutypips · 26/11/2019 21:42

Normal!

DragonMamma · 26/11/2019 21:44

Very normal. Vacuum vag!

Babdoc · 26/11/2019 21:44

OP there was an absolutely priceless thread here on MN a few months ago called “My cabbage drinks the bath water”, on precisely this topic! I haven’t laughed so much in ages!

Ohnoherewego62 · 26/11/2019 21:45

Haha this thread made me laugh!

Yes, also can relate pre and post baby!

Northernlurker · 26/11/2019 21:45

Very normal - and why I gave up bath bombs. Definitely had an irritant effect!

BerwickLad · 26/11/2019 21:47

Yes, normal.

Weirdly, it only started happening after my first miscarriage, so it wasn't even giving birth that brought it on, but pregnancy itself.

Fuckenstein · 26/11/2019 21:50

Yep normal for me. I can squirt it up like a fountain too if the mood takes me.

Ohyesiam · 26/11/2019 21:51

My Fanny is obviously not thirsty. I feel left out now.

Muffintop8 · 26/11/2019 22:01

I was thinking about how I often use bath bombs too and I’ve now stopped coz I’m thinking that shiz is going up there haha

I really hate thinking about this because basically, when we are in a swimming pool, the water has already circulated all around people's cervixes.

GertrudeCB · 26/11/2019 22:40

Post bath gush ? Perfectly normal.

cricketmum84 · 26/11/2019 22:43

Totally normal. Especially after swimming!

BerwickLad · 26/11/2019 22:48

@picklemepopcorn that has never occurred to me before but now thanks to your input I will be able to bring it to mind every time I go swimming. 👍

raspberryk · 26/11/2019 22:52

Wow that wouldn't be normal for me neither pre nor post birth but it looks like I'm the odd one out.

picklemepopcorn · 26/11/2019 23:01

@BerwickLad glad to be of service. Wouldn't like you to swim in ignorance of the cavity rinse you are soaking in! Grin

BerwickLad · 26/11/2019 23:05

Yes. Yes, I would.
