Good toys/things for 15 month old

Our DC will be just over 15 months at Christmas. He hasn’t had any new toys in a while and so wanted to get a few at Christmas to keep him interested. So far, have got him a wooden block thing with a hammer he can bash the toys through (no idea what that’s called!), a peppa pig aqua doodle (he’s obsessed with the pig!) and toot toot drivers airport. My mum has got him a few books (he has loads of books anyway plus we borrow from library) and already has a push along toy to help with his walking (he uses that a lot but won’t yet walk independently - I’m convinced he can but he doesn’t seem interested!). Any suggestions?

Following with interest but my son has completely gone off toys in favour of walking around and just looking at "stuff"! However we have got him a wooden kitchen with loads of food, utensils etc and a wooden cleaning set as he is obsessed with "helping" with household chores! Also got him some books, bath toys and a shape sorter.

My DD is the same age. We've got her a toy kitchen with some pots and pans and some food, some simple puzzles, books and potentially a balance bike. I'm going to put a few simple, cheap things in her stocking - soft toy, play dough with some cookie cutters, colouring book and first crayons. We recently got her a Happyland set (the zoo I think) which she quite likes as it has lots of smaller figures she can move around and play with.

Also watching with interest. My 18 month old mainly plays with anything on wheels - he's already built up a collection of cars, trains, buses, tractors you name it. He's also got a few happyland and other figures which he enjoys chucking them on the big bus (happyland) as well as popping the Toombliboos in a car and watching them whizz off. Also has lots of books which he loves so that's never a bad thing. He also likes empty boxes!!

We're in the process of moving but first thing we'll get is a toy kitchen - we just don't have the space atm.

Thanks for the suggestions - will look at Happyland and toy kitchen too! We don’t have a playroom which is annoying - a big lounge but still feels like it’s a mess as playpen and loads of toys in here!
