Natural ways to anti-bac clothes

Hi
I'm a second time mum, DD2 4 weeks old. I'm remembering the joys of explosive poo nappies and the washing that follows. With my first I used napisan to disinfect the clothes but since then I'm trying to use less chemicals and more natural products. Can anyone recommend a product or solution to make sure the pooey clothes are hygienically clean but without loads of chemicals?

Thanks!

I've not had mine yet, but I was given the impression from various washable nappy sites that you don't need to anti bac for baby poo unless they actually have an illness. Also UV light (so drying in sunshine) will do a certain amount.

I was going to say sunlight is amazing.

With cloth nappies I used to pre treat stains in the sink with a paste of biology washing powder (not liquid), rinse well with hot water. Then was with the same powder on a hot wash and line dry. Even in this weather the cold and the sunlight will help break down stains.
