What do/did you pack in your 9 month old's nursery bag?
No idea where to start!

I just put in a full change of clothes in case of disaster, and some warm outdoor stuff in winter/sunhat in summer.. Our nursery supplies all food and formula, as well as a waterproof all in one for babies up to 12 months so i put in hat, gloves, extra jumper and socks. We also have to provide nappies and any nappy creams we want used, so once a week or so I also drop off a pack of nappies and they let me know when they're running low on cream. As hes got bigger (ds is 21 months now) I've added a scarf, all over waterproof and wellies. He sometimes takes a toy with him too if hes been playing with it on the way to nursery.

Better to ask your nursery what they expect really - different places have different policies. E.g. at my son’s nursery we drop off a big bag of nappies every so often and they tell us when they’re running out, but I know some nurseries provide nappies, and some insist you pack them in their day bag every day. Likewise some provide bottles and/cups and some ask that you send them in the day bag. All I’ve ever packed is two full outfit changes and a couple of clean dummies in a case for nap time. Don’t send toys or books from home, you’re just asking for trouble!

Full change of clothes, sometimes with extra warmer or cooler options depending on season/weather.

Comfort toy (labelled!!) for nap time, this is similar to the one she has at home and used only at nursery/out of the house so there's no panic about losing the really sentimental one.

Nappies go in separately as above.

Loads and loads of spare underwear and trousers when they get to the toilet training stage!!!

More spare clothes than you think they'll need and for different temperatures, DS goes outside but it's warm in the nursery, comforter/toy in case they get upset, teether (DS has a matchstick monkey he takes), hat and gloves, coat (nursery provides puddle suits but they're very thin), his communication book where I tell them if he's slept, had breakfast etc and they update with what he's eaten, nappy changes, naps, what he's done that day. Oh and a one tog grobag he naps there much better with it, maybe because their cots are much bigger and it's comforting, maybe because it smells like home. DS is ten months.

Ours provides food, nappies, wipes etc and formula if you use it. I send in some labelled pouches of expressed breast milk every couple of weeks and they keep it in the freezer.

Just a change of clothes. Everything else is there and nursery is the first and last stop so no need for baby stuff in between

Nursery will probably give you a list as some things (e.g. nappies, sun cream, etc) differ.
But as a rule we pack:
Full change of clothes, plus a second vest
Spare dummy
Sun cream, sun hat, warm hat
Emergency snack for the way home
They keep nappies and wipes there and she never took formula.

If you do send any toys or comforters from home, make sure they are well labelled. We have one that we sent at the start and now when she's teething or a bit touchy, but it has her name in about 1000 places. And do not send nice clothes that you don't expect to come home ruined with paint, food and various substances.
