Hey,
So I've come across a few reusable nappy websites. I think it's a fantastic idea, I love things like this, that's a lot more natural. It's so much better for babies bottoms etc.

There are quite a few Companies, I thought before I brought if anyone else had used any of these?

Thanks.

Have a look and see if there's a cloth happy library near you. You can usually get a trial kit for a month so you can try different types/brands and see what works. There are a lot of different options and what you prefer is quite individual, so I'd definitely recommend this!

How old is your baby?

Definitely go to a cloth nappy library even if you have to travel to one. The one in Bristol is run by a woman with unparalleled knowledge.

The nappy lady on Facebook is an exceptional resource and community.

Your local council probably run a scheme where you can get a free one then a discounted starter pack. Ours do but the one they offer is my least favourite type and brand so don't necessarily judge it all on that.

Try and find people in real life to advise too. Good luck

Thank you, oh yes I haven't thought of a nappy library before. My baby is 4 months old.

I've seen a few online and on ebay. Made from bamboo. I think they are called bambooco. They are fairly new I think. They also od reusable Baby wipes, Sanitary towels etc. Anyone tried these guys?

Yes to wipes and sanitary towels. All are great and the wipes have saved me a fortune. Just keep a pit of pre wet ones with you and it's no different.

Definitely check out a nappy library as you can hire kits with different types to figure out what works for your baby. For example, mine is long and skinny so some just gape around the thighs. Bamboo is great nappy material as it's so absorbent, but it takes forever to dry so unless you have loads, a mixture of materials is good. Cotton nappies dry faster than bamboo, microfiber even quicker. But then quicker drying is generally less absorbent. However for a really little one, you won't need huge absorbancy.
Once you know what type works for you, check out eBay and cloth nappies UK selling group on Facebook. You'll need to be quick though, there's a huge market for pre loved nappies and they go quickly.

Also send do cloth wipes, they're so much better! I hate regular wipes in comparison 😂

Different brands fit differently so worth trying a few to see what works best for your LOs shape. Just be warned theybdont have the same absorbing powers, we change DC religiously every 3hrs (sooner if theres a poo)

We love littles and bloomz (wish it didn't have a questionable z haha but I've found they work better for us than more expensive ones!)

I used prefolds and separate wraps - I had 24 Egyptian cotton prefolds (they come in packs of 12) and 4 wraps in each size (unless they get filthy they can be used for multiple nappy changes). They did 2 kids. Also had cloth wipes. I did buy flushable liners when they were younger as it makes dirty nappies easier but stopped bothering once they were on solids.
