Bright Bots are fab but be warned they come up very small.

My DD has fitted in 'small' between 5 months and a year but they are getting snug.

She is now in 'medium' at a year old.

Highly recommended though

My ds is about 16kg and the large size Bright Bots are really too small for him but XL are ok.

Thanks for that, I might try some mediums for her, she's very nearly 2 but quite small, about 24lbs I think.

they say they would only hold one 'small' wee...not suitable for nighttime then? im using disposables for dd at night but ds is in reusables and id love to have dd in them but sometimes shes wees a lot overnight sometiems not at all, shes 2.9yo

BabiesEverywhere · 16/08/2007 21:46

-not suitable for nighttime then-

No, They are not truely waterproof, they just prevent puddles on the floor. The wee will seep out slowly. So a small wee can be contained but needs changing straught away, therefore not situable for night time use.

Minki yoyos are great for night use on older children

I'm just trialling Bright Bots - quite like them. We used to sell the Motherease ones but they didn't really sell well so I just dropped them. It surprised me because I (still) think they're great. A layer of soft terry attached to the regular ME outer.

One problem I did find is that the terry felt like a nappy to my DS so he tended to USE them as a nappy.

I've trialled the Bright Bots which are a bit crackly as the waterproofing is embedded between jersey style fabric. Because it's a jersey cotton feel (like a soft t-shirt) he thinks they're pants, so it works better than the terry type.

Not sure if we'll start to sell them but I would be interested in other people's comments about them.

makesachange · 20/08/2007 15:49

I should have mentioned that as already stated, these are not nappies, but trainer pants which will catch an accident, not work as a nappy.

Motherease trainer pants are the same.

Flame's suggestion of Minki Yoyos would be a better suggestion if you need an actual nappy.

curlywurlycremeegg · 20/08/2007 17:33

trainer pants wise I like the mother eden trickle free trainers, make great swim nappies also

ELMTREE · 20/08/2007 20:54

Can i just add to this conversation. Trainer pants are a waste of time and money. They will only confuse your child. If you are going to potty train etc, you really need to go the whole hog and get them into pants.
