Nursing clothes

Wasn't sure whether to post this here or in S&B...
Anyway, I had a csection 2 weeks ago. Have lost a decent amount of weight (I was huge during pregnancy) but am very flabby with a fat lower belly (the bit below my belly button, but above my section scar - hard to explain) so I have a significant 'tyre' Sad
My mat clothes no longer fit but my normal clothes are unflattering because of this flabby area.
I'm also breastfeeding and finding it really hard to know what to wear to look nice/hide this area/be accessible for feeding.
Does anybody have any suggestions of styles of clothing/shops which I could have a look at.
Thank you in advance.

I always wore two tops. Once sleeveless vest type and a baggy long sleeve top over it. Lift up baggy top, pull down vest, gives easy access, good breast coverage and covers flab. Also means I could buy cheap-ish so didn't feel bad about not wearing after I stopped feeding.

Congrats on your new baby!

Oh thats a really good idea. And so simple. Thanks so much!
Turns out I am not the stylish, put-together-looking mum I had hoped to be probably because I don't sleep at all anymore. Ever. Grin

One up one down is always good - I used to do this a lot in the early days with a vest and t shirt or jumper

Jojo Maman has some really nice nursing tops - think longer tunics etc which are really flattering, but are a little pricey.

Congratulations on your new arrival!

You only had a baby 2 weeks ago! You're doing brilliantly. I'm pretty sure it was about 8 weeks after my first that I felt OK about leaving the house. Until then I was pretty much in the corner crying, exhausted and covered in baby sick....😂😂😂.

Layering is your friend but I also used patpat online. Took a week and a half to turn up but got pyjamas, two tops, a dress and a sweater for £50

I am in the same boat and have found these JoJo tops to be the best - they are loose fitting over the tummy area so any bulges are well hidden! They do longer sleeve ones too: www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/sleeveless-pleated-maternity-nursing-tops-d5086.html

Thank you all, will definitely start layering and will have a look at Jojo, have a few babygrows from there and they're great quality so I'm sure the adult clothes will be too.
My next question... Is it normal for the baby to BF ALL DAY?? She feeds maybe 2-3 times an hour, every hour. Including overnight. It's going well and she's a perfect baby but the constant BFing feels so restrictive and sometimes pretty lonely. I know that's a very non-problem and I should feel lucky that it's going well (and I do feel very lucky) but just curious to know if this is normal and if its likely to slow down anytime soon...
