My 11y Daughter has came out as bi sexual

I can't get my head around it. She just started in the girls secondary school is at just a faze? Her dad left me when she was 2 & her granddad died when was 6 & none of my relationship ended well plus we live in with my mum & sister. Could it be the environment

She hasn't mentioned it again so I'm just going to watch this space, see how she goes and support if needed. I wouldn't be surprised is it's peer lead, one of the boys at dance has come out as gay and is dating one of her best friends from primary, a lad who is also bi. Her best female friend from scouts is dating a girl and her favourite teacher is trans... I'm sure there are probably others too .

@IHaveBrilloHair I'm glad your daughter is happy

@Littlek0406 you sound as if you've both been to hell and back, I hope 2024 will be kinder to you

It's funny that you should mention your daughter being on the spectrum, I'm currently filling in that paperwork to start the process for mine...

@Mysa74 it seems like a lot of girls want to be trans, and I’ve done a bit of reading up about it and autism it seems to be the biggest factor?!

It’s all about peer lead, being sheep & being different but they taking it to the extreme.
I am 40 now and back in my school days, if you were gay or lesbian you’ll get a bit of stick about it.

Bloody hell, Dr who is now gay and not homophobic in anyway, but it seems that TV isn’t doing ours kids any good!

Anyway have wonderful 2024!🍾✨💐

Why don't you like that the doctor is gay? Seriously I'm not surprised yout daughter hasn't mentioned this to you again.
