Taking the buggy on holiday for a 4 year old??

We're going away in a couple of weeks as a family and plan to do quite a bit of walking. I'm thinking of taking the buggy for DS2 as although he is 4.5, and has barely used the buggy for over a year now, he doesn't normally cope too well with a lot of walking. I will be 29 weeks pregnant at that point too, so I won't be able to push him all the time and it's just another thing for us to take with us. Would you do it?

We took one this year for my now five year old (she was 4 at the time). But it was for evenings so we could go out a couple of times and she would have somewhere to fall asleep, we didn't use it during the day.

Would he be happy to go in the pushchair, and do you think that you will be walking as much as you expect to being pregnant? If yes then take it, there's nothing lost?

I'd take it so long as your DS would be comfortable with it. I took mine until DD was around 5. It's better to take it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Yes I would take it. Mine all occasionally used a buggy until school age..... If your child refuses to use it then no point. But if he will still hop in when tired take it with you. It's great for carrying a picnic too!
