Best toy kitchen?

Hello,

Thinking early for Christmas and want to get DD 2.5 a small stocking and then one gift (found for birthday any more than 2-3 gifts was a bit overwhelming/got bored of unwrapping!) and as we have large families she will get lots more toys etc anyway.

Decided on a toy kitchen and would love to hear recommendations. Ideally a wooden one if possible. Have looked at Ikea which looks good and solid but a bit plain. Also some in Asda look nice.

Thanks!

We've had the ikea one for nearly two years now. Still played with daily by our 3 boys. Can't fault it.

We also have the ikea one. Dd got it when she was 1 and she’s 6 now. Still played with and now my toddler plays with it too.
If you think it’s plain, Pinterest have loads of ideas and hacks for the ikea kitchen

My DD has the Aldi one that comes out every year. It's great, but the ikea one is better if you have that little bit of extra space needed...

We got the wooden kitchen from Asda for DD at Xmas last year it was cheap in comparison to some wooden kitchens we looked at (some £100++) but its a really nice quality and 10months on with practically daily playing it still looks brand new

We have an ELC one (retro diner kitchen). We got it as it was wider and we had two kids. Also found the red colour to be a lot brighter.

It will be 5 years old this Christmas and has survived moving countries with us 3times.

I’ve got the bigger Ikea one. It’s great, sturdy and looks lovely. Their kitchen utensils and fabric food is also brilliant. Dd plays with it every day.

We just got DS the chad valley deluxe from Argos as I wanted one with a washing machine and it's great. Got lots of bits on Amazon from Melissa and Doug to go with it. Also the price was good and I put it together myself at 34 weeks pregnant 😂

Another one for Aldi here for the kitchen, with toy kitchen equipment and food from IKEA, Aldi, and more recently Lidl (who did a pizza set that was better than IKEA's play pizza)

We got our DD a wooden kitchen from Asda last Christmas, it's great quality and she also loves the fact it has a washing machine, she's 2.5 now and it's been played with daily since she got it.

We have the Ikea one which I "hacked". Lots of ideas on pinterest and it was really easy (I am not crafty at all!), just painted the MDF bits, used marble contact paper on the worktop and put some painted MDF on the bank with a wall sticker. It gets used every day.

Also cute idea which DD does is that I got some stick on battery operated lights from pound land and put them in the oven bit so she can turn the oven light on.

Thanks so much I think Ikea wins! @Buyitinbamboo I always want to be that crafty mum but I am SO unimaginative but you have inspired me! I might have a go at doing it up to make it a bit prettier!
