12 Week Jabs

My DS has his 12 week jabs today.
Is there a time limit you shouldn't take them out for? Also how long after can you take them swimming I'm thinking of sometime next week.

Really not sure as I tried to google it but nothing came up. Interested to know when other people took their children out/swimming.

TIA

You dont need to avoid swimming

Does the 12 week one include rotovirus? I'd maybe be cautious of swimming 2 weeks after, just in case there's a poo in the pool incident.

Just see how they are afterwards and play it by ear. There's no rules about it.

Thank you all.

@sewinginscotland yes it did include the rotovirus. Sorry I might be being dumb here do you mean if DS poos in the pool?

Yeah, if ds poos in the pool. Although any kind of poo in the pool is quite distressing!

@sewinginscotland ohh okay. Yeah I won't take him. Thank you for the advice

That's what swim nappies are for

Given poo in the pool means clearing the pool for everyone so it can be cleaned, that shouldn't ever be happening. Happy Nappy over a reusable or disposable swim nappy. Poo won't escape from that.
