Dummies after 18 months

I know some brands do different sized dummies for children aged 18m+. DD uses Phillips Avent and currently uses the 6-18m dummies. She's 15m. She is deffo going to have a dummy 18m+ but I don't think they do a different sized one. I am worried about her teeth and I'm wondering whether brands that do a different dummy for 18m+ are better for their teeth than sticking with a 6-18m dummy for potentially years after that age? Should I switch brands when she hits 18m to a brand that does a bigger size and if I do, will she take to a different brand when she's always used Avent? The only other dummy we've ever tried was the 0-2 m NUK ones that she didn't take to when she was tiny.

It's absolutely fine to go over the age recommendation. I think the manufacturers just make the upper limit 18 months to not promote giving dummies to older kids, but in reality there's no problem with it. DS is still using a 6-18 month dummy and he's 4.5 years and we haven't had any problems.

18+ will be bigger so they dont fit in the childs mouth and will be less of a choking risk

Oh I didn't know that, ive never seen them in the shops and we always buy her dummies from the shops and not online, so I didn't think to look online! And makes sense about choking risk, I didn't even think of that.
