Hey everyone ,
Tomorrow we are going away on a holiday and as usual I do a huge house clean up before leaving.

We have a really bad dust problem at our home and I'm usually quite on top of it all.

My little 5 month old boy had been assisting me , weather he is next to me on his bouncer or laying on a playmat or bed. I went into my daughter room and lifted up her make up box to give her drawers a wipe. As I lifted the box so much dust went into the air and my son laying on the bed would of inhaled quite a bit as he did start sneezing.

I'm quite concerned as I have heard dust can cause breathing problems , any advice?

Prolonged exposure to dust can give you a few problems but it's the type of dust, brick dust being one of the most toxic as it contains tiny crystals that your lungs are unable to get rid of and can build up over time.

However general house dust is mostly made up of clothing fibre, dead skin and other rubbish. I wouldn't worry if its just the one time and your boy seems fine? just give plenty of water to clear out sinuses and keep an eye if you're worried.
