Baby keeps shoving dummy in mouth!

So my 6 month old LG keeps shoving her dummy (pacifier) in her mouth, like until all of it (even the plastic) is in her mouth!
I have tried just not giving her one to see if she would settle/sleep without it but that just didn't happen, she loves it too much unfortunately 😂

I'm so exhausted staying up all night to make sure she isn't putting it all in her mouth , when she falls asleep I take it off her but she wakes back up looking for it. Is there anything I can do to get her to stop this? Or is there any dummies made in a way to prevent this from happening?! I think it might be a teething thing that's why she's doing it, not sure though, Any help/advice would be much appreciated! My anxiety is through the roof with her lately as also she keeps tipping her walker and bouncer over every chance she gets 😂 (she's a big, big baby) Thankyou if you read this! 😊

Have you considered buying the next size up. I remember mine doing this and it worried me. Incase they choked and couldn’t breathe. I bought the next size up and it stopped because it was too big to go all the way in. My ds and dd had tommee tippee and i know they have a 6-18 month size. I’m not sure about other size/style dummies though sorry.

I had a similar problem. DS is attached to the newborn size dummies, I have tried going up a size and he just won’t accept the dummy at all as he can tell the difference. I think in general when they are asleep at night they shouldn’t really be putting it all in their mouth? Mine never did at night it was more during the day so I tried to limit how much he had it for.

Definitely worth a try to upsize then and hopefully she will accept them? Mine seems to have outgrown the phase now of doing it hopefully but he only started this around 15months so he had better control of the dummy etc.
