DH: "I'll take him out on Sunday!" Means halfway through the day. Anyone else?

Anyone else have a partner (still together) that promises to have DC for the day to give you a break and then snoozes til maybe half 10/11, makes a leisurely breakfast and maybe takes over about midday. I mean, we've been up since half 4 today, so we will have had most of the day together. I LOVE spending time with my DS and love my DH very much, but taking him to the park for a couple of hours isn't 'for the day'... right?

You need to be clear about the Job Description: day means from daybreak.

Sorry, that sounds as if it is your mistake rather than his complacency. He should have more understanding. Let him know where he went wrong with his definition of ‘day’.
