Would you give your 14 month old pate? In a sandwich? Would it be okay? Sorry if this is a dumb question! It's Tesco farmhouse pate with mushrooms.

I would, I'm not aware of any reasons why you shouldn't.

Of course! My little one loves paté and it's a great source of B vitamins.

I cannot think of a single reason why not to. The only thing I avoided ws honey until 12 months as per guidelines. Everything else is fair game surely?

Neither I guess I'm just curious as never thought of giving it her but I bought some yesterday so just thought I'd ask other people :) they say not to eat it when your pregnant so I didn't know if I could give it to my daughter 😂

INGREDIENTS: Pork Liver (39%)
, Pork Fat (24%), Pork, Mushroom (7%), Water, Tapioca Starch, Dextrose, Salt, Garlic Purée, Shallot Powder, Parsley, Spices, Sugar, Colour (Plain Caramel), Preservative (Sodium Nitrite).

It just seemed like odd ingredients haven't got a clue what some of it is but thanks for the re assurance

It's a processed meat product like ham, sausage, bacon etc, so not great if she's eating loads of it every day, but the odd serving once or twice a week won't do any harm.

Be careful with the amount of salt that they have for the rest of the day as I imagine it’s high in salt.
