Toddler routines? (sahm)

Ftm (sahm) of a lovely 15 mth old DS, he's sleeps pretty well 7-7 but he's just been through some kind of epic developmental leap and it's thrown DH and me... He's not really eating and the day time nap is a nightmare (either skips or only in the buggy). He's reaaaaaally active so we're normally at groups in the morning, home for "lunch" (in the loosest sense!) then an activity (walks, swim, group, soft play etc) til dindins at 5. That's the only meal that's going well for us atm.

Just wondering what other sahp's routines are like? Keeping them fed/hydrated/alive etc

Felt like I sort of got the baby bit, now he's a wee person I'm lost!

Thoughts please but keep it kind thank you!

I didn't really have a routine in place for my toddler. And honestly, I am not a fan of constantly going to groups or "special places". We went to a swimming class once a week and to a toddler play group once a week. I think that's enough fixed/planned activities for that age.
Other than that he mainly played at home and at the playground, with irregular playdates with children his age.

Mine was up at 7, then milk breakfast and dressed by about 8.30/9. Bit of playing in there. Walk out - nowhere exciting swings or shop, with them asleep for around 40mins of it.

Home by about 10.30, bit of play, "helping" me with things or we would swing past the library or whatever after our walk.

Lunch 12-12.30, drop elder dd at Preschool, down for a sleep 1pm. Wake at 3pm. Walk up to collect elder dd at 3.15.

We would then go another park or similar with both dc. Home by 4.30, playtime while I prepped dinner. 5 dinner for all. 6 bath. 6.30 milk. 7 bed.

I'd swap out the odd bit if I met up with a friend or we went swimming etc. I never did groups. Hated them. Odd museum trip or local baby soft play.

Up at 7am then inn the mornings we usually do an activity three times a week - so playgroup, class and then a drop in thing (softplay, museum, library etc).

Nap follows from about 11am - 1pm - he will have this out and about but I generally try to get it so we're in the house for all or part of it so I can get some things done round the house and have a cup of tea in peace!

After lunch we play, read books and go the park. We also pop to the supermarket a few times a week as well as any other errands so we do those in the afternoon or on our free mornings. We might see friends or meet up with his GPs. Dinner's at 5pm then bath, iggle piggle and bed at 7pm.

DD is 23m. Up and breakfast around 7ish. Mornings depend on if it’s a preschool day (3 days a week) for 4 year old DS, but most days we head out around 9 to some kind of class or play date with friends or just to the park or I have things to do like a trip to the supermarket. Snack about 10 on the go

Back home for lunch (or picnic/lunch out, but it’s still around 12ish). Pick DS up at 12.30, home by 1 and nap around 1-2.30/3.

Afternoons we are usually at home or the play ground. snack around 3ish, dinner around 5.30 and then bed at 7

Mine has never been a sleeper so now he's a toddler I focus on wearing him out. He's 22 months now up at 5.30 on a good day Confused so I have him out and to the park by 8 let him pootle picking up leaves, acorns etc and walking at a snails pace sorry that should read toddler pace Grin.-- We then get back have a snack and the off to the shops for a slow walk around to get fresh fruit etc, back for lunch, back out to the park/duck pond etc home for playtime, dinner at 5.30 then bedtime routines which last anything from 1 hour to 4 Grin.--
