Mixing cows milk and formula

My DD hates cows milk and just won't accept it, I've tried adding nesquik to give it a different flavour but she just gives the bottle back wanting formula.
She's nearly 2 now and I really want to reduce the amount of formula she's on, I've read that you can mix cows milk with the formula in the place of water? Is this right? If so is it completely in the place of water or do I make up the formula then add the cows milk as how would the formula mix properly without boiling water.
I may be being a dim but I just don't want to do it wrong!! 😂

This doesn't really answer the question you're asking, but does she need the milk? If she's eating cheese/yoghurt/cereal with milk then she's getting enough calcium, so you just ditch the formula and let her drink water.

Obviously if she doesn't eat much dairy/calcium rich food and/or doesn't drink much water then that doesn't apply. But what they need is calcium and hydration - it doesn't necessarily have to be in the form of milk!

She doesn’t have to have milk. Calcium can be found in tons of other forms - yogurt, cheese, green leafy veg (blend into sauces if she won’t eat them).

Have you tried the full fat oat milk? She might prefer that. In a cup not a bottle though, because bottles are really bad for teeth past the age of one.

We used to wean formula/milk combo until it was more milk than formula but that was decades ago, you could try it or try skemi skimmed milk full fat might be too creamy for her.

My dd doesn't drink milk except in the occasional banana smoothie or milkshake. She refuses to have milk on her cereal too. She eats cheese and yogurt and salad veges. I give my dd water to drink. I was the same when I was young, hated cows milk but loved cheese and yogurt and I have never been calcium deficient.
