Toddler decided to use potty - what now?

After a hard time trying to get my dd to use the potty (which resulted in her getting extremely upset). We decided to let her guide us when she was ready to use potty. We've left it in the lounge and kept encouraging her without being too forceful. Anyway last night she decided to take off her nappy and do a wee in the potty! We gave her lots of praise and were so happy. Anyway I'm unsure how to play it now.

Do we remove nappy completely from now on?

If so do we do go out without her wearing a nappy as well?

At home it isn't such a problem if she has accident but I'm not sure what to do on outings?

Does anyone have any advice from experience?

Thanks

Can you ask her if she wants to keep going? My DD2 was very much of the opinion that she was done with nappies. She was only 18months but very clear on the subject. DD1 however was kind of forced into by the childminder which made it everlasting.

Id say it's summer. A very good time to give it all a go.

Sounds like a great start, We went no nappy at home for the first phase no clothes, then when they are happy where their wees and poos go, start with pants, (they need to be learning how to push their pants/knickers down )

We used bed and chair disposable liners to line car seat once confident he could tell us when he needed a wee.

I would try and stay close to home for a few days see how it goes. In the beginning when they say they need to pee its RIGHT NOW, so having a potty on hand at home works but not if you’re in the middle of the supermarket!

Yeah read "Oh Crap! Its Potty training ". Best money spent ever!
