Birthday money??

Hi, I hope I'm in the right section.
Ok, my 4 year old daughter as been invited to a classmates birthday party this weekend at a soft play venue.
My daughter and the birthday girl are friends at school but do not particularly know each other's likes/dislikes, therefore we have decided to put money in with the birthday card so the birthday girl can spend it how she wishes.
My question is why amount of money would be acceptable to put in a card for a little girl who is turning 4?

Thank you

How much would you spend on a present? Maybe just put the same amount it as you’d spend. I’d say £10 is very acceptable at that age

I think about 10 pound is perfectly fine or 15 if you are feeling generous.

A gift card is nicer and shows some thought at least. Could make it for a major toy shop or a department store. Cash looks like you only found out about the party 5 minutes ago and quickly grabbed something out of your wallet.

£10 in a card is fine. But get a few things as stand bys - you can get general stuff, I’d often pick up two of something when buying for my own kids.

£5-10 is fine.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I think a £10 gift card is the way to go xx
