Can you recommend a baby development book?

My DD is 10 months old and I'm finding it fascinating to see her grow and change. I'd love to find a book that describes how her brain / capabilities are going to develop over the next could of years. Not a 'parenting ' book, but something focusing on baby development. Can anyone recommend one?

There is an app called wonder weeks, I'm not sure if you can get it as a book though.

The First Three Years of Life by Burton L White sounds like what you are talking about. I found a copy on one of those second hand book tables in a supermarket and paid 50p thinking it would be a good laugh to read all the outdated advice from the 70s. Actually I found it to be very accurate in describing the stages of life that my son was going through and how to stimulate him. I pick it up regularly and have a recap. There is a version updated in the 90s too, which I imagine is what you would receive if you ordered a new copy.

Thanks both! I'm after a book rather than an app so will look that one up!
