Its quiet on here tonight and i just wanted to say it - to get it out in the open - to let the world know. Now you can all judge me!

I am obsessive with fading in general - all the washing is hung out inside out so it doesn't fade too.

I've just discovered a night time combination that works brilliantly for dd (who wees for Wales): a bamboo terry (thank you Nappyzone) with wool longies over it - there is nowhere for it to leak . It did take a couple of nights practice to get the origami and nippa sorted, though.

i love cloth nappies too. we recently movede over to pockets fulltime, with a bit of help and advice i beleive form both nappyzone and flame.

my faves at the moment are the blueberries thy are so soft and lush, really cute colours too. the side snap sized ones fit lucy perfectly. swaddlebees side snap and green acre side snap fit well too.

made a big mistake with happy heineys though and brought loads in a size large as i thiought medium wouldn't last long but medium is still big on her and the large are just far too big.

liking drybees too, just wish they weren't so plastcky.

we have found perfect combo for night no, whihc is a bumgenius pocket wiht the bumgenius insert and one green acre hemp insert too, lucy still has dry skin after a whopping 14 hours in it and its not huge and bulky either.

pockets working so well i am even selling all my 2 parters no matter how cute they look.

can i gatecrash ladies?
I have a very chunky 2yr old dd, she weighs over 35lb!! I've used a white prefold with purple stitching(sorry don't know what it was, you guys probably do)and over that a fleece wrap, and she's fine in the morning. Nice bright pink wrap, lovely and soft, no name.

Can i ask who has a nappy website? Flamezone, can you buy nappies off you then?

Oh god, more expense, what was a pushchair addiction, has become a nappy addiction. lol

Flamestorm · 01/08/2007 23:14

There are a few of us with sites here - we have some stock the same, some very different to each other so its worth a look around at them all to work out what is best

Coloured stitching prefold sounds like bambino mio if i recall...

Roskva · 02/08/2007 09:43

A white prefold with purple stitching is a small bambino mio - I use them in my pocket nappies.

liahgen · 02/08/2007 09:47

I did used to have all patterns on the outside but one of my favourites got really faded so now I'm sensible and put them white side out!

Flamestorm · 02/08/2007 14:00

I got the prefold right!

I'm glad I read this thread cos I thought I was mad. I have only been using cloth nappies for 4 months and Im loving them! I regret not trying them sooner.

I love them on the washing line, the cute colours, trendy wraps, spending money on them, the smell of them when they are washed and clean and I that we are doing the best for dd soft bottom and the environment. People think I'm mad for using cloth saying its hard work, expensive and no better than disposables. I just wish more people would try it and that health professionals encouraged it more.
