I have one child. I finally split from her dad a month ago after a long on and off abusive relationship mainly in his part but on both sides. I didn't realise how over him I was till he was gone so that's not a problem. My problem is, me and my child haven't been in a routine since she was a baby, she's getting really fed up and misbehaving with the way things are and we're stuck in a rut. I have been warned I need to change my diet and exercise for my health and hers isn't the best. I have many things to turn around including both our diets, my mental health, and other areas for the baby too. I just wondered if anybody had any tips on diet and routine for a nearly 3 year old. Also potty training. Basically I just need tips to help me in the right direction? Thanks

I'd suggest prioritising your mental health... unless u are in the right state of mind everything else u have to tackle will seem insurmountable. Make small changes for diet/exercise to begin with. Don't keep sweet treats in the house, look at cooking methods(swap frying for oven or grill)... blended soups are a great way of hiding veg!! My youngest child is 12 so im sure all my techniques (That I can recall anyway) will probably be very outdated, but health visitors usually extremely helpful and could possibly put u in direction of support workers that can help u clear your head.

Completely forgot I wrote this! I'm so sorry! Thank you so much for the reply I'm stuck in such a rut. Been planning for the past few days to start a fresh, start by straightening my home out and the rest but I just haven't.
@Pinkash19 thanks.
