Cheap small compact buggy

Going on holiday in October, DS will be 8 months old, I don't want to take our nice pram as it might get bashed around the airport hold... does anyone have recommendations for something really small and light (and cheap) that's good as a holiday pram. We won't be doing loads of walking - just something he can nap in and we can walk around the resort.

Thank you!

Were in Spain now and I bought a second hand one from gumtree. It's a cuggl one and I think you can get them from argos for about £30. Asda also sell a Redkite one for about £35 i think. Both got extending hoods, recline, 5 point safety harness and umbrella fold so it was perfect for the plane

They look perfect thank you! I didn't even think to look on Asda !

I bought the silver cross jet for holidays and quick shops

@NEtoN10 the napping abroad is hilarious. When we were away a couple of months ago, there was a cavalcade of dads walking babies around mid morning and just after lunch to get them to nap. DH was pleased to have fellow soldiers engaged in the same battle 😂

We used umbrella buggies with a sun shade, mine was an American brand

We use a double so won’t apply to you but I have heard good things about the Acro. It is also lightweight so ideal for travel.

I just bought a Red Kite one (called Push Me 2 U) for this exact purpose. It’s great. I even used it a few times in London before coming away cos I could carry it folded in one hand and hold DD’s hand with the other on Underground staircases.
