Can you re-use old baby bottles?

I have some bottles left from when my DD was using them - they'll be about 5 years old by the time I need them (if at all). Obviously I'd buy new teats, but should I actually buy new bottles too or will washing & sterilising them before use be enough? I hope I don't sound awful for considering re-using them if the answer is "of course you have to buy new ones"

Of course you can reuse them.

I would, after checking there are no scratches of course.

Bung 'em in the steriliser, they'll be fine

I reused mine, with new teats, 4 1/2 years on!

Thanks, people! I was sure I'd read somewhere that you need new ones, but that was probably from a bottle manufacturer

I am currently re-using mine! Got them down from the loft, ran them through the dishwasher a couple of times and bought new teats

Yes but check for scratches - these can allow undesirable chemicals to leach into milk (allegedly). And agree, definitely buy new teats.
