Why does no one on this website use “google” you all ask stupid questions that can be answered in seconds, but would rather wait, sometimes hours, for a stranger to reply, when you could instantly have the advice and expertise of professionals.

In all honesty, because your son is tube fed, I would be calling the health visitor or whoever helps you and ask them about this. Juice or squash is not recommended till' around 8 months.

And even then it's completely unnecessary. Babies don't need it and it's bad for their teeth. The sugar free varieties have nasty additives in them.

Water and milk is all they need.

I’d say it’s probably fine. I doubt it’s recommended, but really it’s just some extra sugar as I assume the right ratio of water to powder was used for his milk. At 7 months, presumably he’s eating some solids too so I wouldn’t worry too much about it, BUT I know nothing about tube feeding so if you’re worried you should check.

If everyone used google there wouldn't be these sites and it gives you the wrong answers or a stupid one do you really have nothing better to do than write stupid comments.

Hey thank you he is on nutriprem 2 powder milk i was litrelly only giving a bit to try because he is really congested and read that water helps but he wouldnt take it he would normally try but been a bit fussy today but then wasnt planning on using it and forgot to tell partner and because it was really watered down he didnt notice it in the bottle and thought it was ready for his milk

I imagine it will be fine, it just sugary water after all. Its not something I would recommend often but as a one off i would think its fine. If it was salt it would have been a problem.

Maybe get a coloured bottle or cup for anything non water to save confusion in future.

fyi if you need help with constipation I would try a little pure apple juice with water, and see if he will sip from a regular cup. or pear puree is supposed to be good
