As the title says,.. what time do you actually switch off and sit down for the evening? I find I'm still going at 10pm, it's never ending. When I look at the instamums they all sitting down and chilling from 7ish it seems.🤷🏽‍♀️

7pm here, as soon as DD (17months) is in bed.

7.30. I tidy as I go and have one big tidy at the weekend.

Fuck spending my life tidying. As long as it's not dangerous or sticky, I'm fine with some clutter.

It helps that we don't own much.

Not before 10pm, really, between job and chores.

I have, however been known to take my last two conference calls of the day from the comfort of my own patio while sipping in a glass of wine.

Not these days, mind, the office has air conditioning. Grin

As soon as DCs go to bed. Usually anytime between 8-9.30pm. I’m too knackered for anything else after that.

Sipperskipper · 01/07/2019 06:30

As soon as DD (2) is in bed, which is 7.30. We eat dinner together and then clear it all away. Then tidy before she goes up so it’s done (just her playroom to tidy really, rest of the house is tidy as I just tidy as I go).

I’m always knackered come bedtime, so come 7.30 I get my pyjamas on and flop onto the sofa.

About 8.30 these days. My youngest DC is now in Reception and I have a day off work mid week.

Until my youngest was in school, it felt like I never sat down. Now things get done more easily, but I've also prioritised and lowered my expectations of myself and I'm much happier for it... and oddly actually more productive.
That said I am a very early riser, 5am most days, so I get lots done then and only really have a general tidy after work.

8pm when I fall into bed once all 3 dc are in bed.
