Hi everyone,

DS is 16 weeks and is currently teething so is permanently a dribbly mess at the moment! We have a lot of bandana bibs with the towelling backing but it's just soaking through to his clothes. Can anyone recommend any bibs that are either super absorbent or have a waterproof backing, along with a popper closure rather than Velcro as he likes to rip them off?!

Thank you!

Bubba Bibs, I think they’re called? I bought a job lot from someone on FB marketplace and they’re the best all day bibs ever (and I’m speaking as the parent of Super Vomit Reflux Baby).

Tommee Tippee ones are good for dribbles while feeding but not comfy for them to wear while napping etc (yes DD has to wear a bib while napping due to the aforementioned reflux 😩)

This are really cheap but pretty good at absorbing. www.babywearuk.com/Front-popper-stud-bib-White

Not cheap but the only.thing that stopped DC's dribble soaking their clothes

Funky Giraffe. They're double-layered and they're available in all sorts of patterns.. My DS has ones to match all of his outfits. (Sad, but they're cute and save him from dribble rash/wet tops).

I have some I like from IKEA. Fleecy back to them and very absorbent. Cheap too! I also like my IKEA 'overall' thing for weaning. Easy to put on and off and keeps her vaguely clean!

next are good, they have a popper to fasten as then feel like they have a plastic layer inside so nothing soaks through
