I hate the summer holidays!

Please help, I have a 19 month old and 2 3/4 year old. I am SAHM and am struggling to know what to do with them now that usual farm parks and soft play areas are full to breaking point.
Took them to farm park yesterday and my eldest had his head stood on whilst trying to climb a slide, an older child used him as a stepping stone.
Any ideas anyone?

I find getting somewhere just as it opens and just staying for an hour or so often works. People are relaxing in the summer holidays and are not rushing out.

Rather than going to playgrounds maybe go to parks with big open spaces where you are not going to be crowded. Put a colourful blanket down so they can see where to come back to. Take bubbles, ball, frisbee, bags to put leaves, twigs pine cones whatever they want to collect. Take a picnic.

Go for a bus ride, they love looking out the window and it doesn't matter where you're going.

Well, I'd suggest picnics, nature walks and building dens in the garden but the weather is so appalling right now.

you didn't shout at the boy who stood on your 19 months head and call him nasty did you.. (sorry there's another thread on here about that at the moment)

I found it easier to structure my day when they were that age, I second local parks.. so what if its cold.. the kids don't notice, feed the ducks... take a picnic..
mind you its always more fun if you can pair up with another mum...
good luck.. only another 6 weeks to go until the schools go back and everywhere is empty again..
