Flying with 6 month old

Hi everyone.

My partner and I are due to fly with our baby who will be 6 months old at the time. I am just booking the seats and wondered if any one had any advice on the best seating plan to choose? So far I think the two best options are:
AB, so one window seat and one in the middle. My thoughts on this are very annoying for the person sat in C if we have to keep getting up.
BD, so both of us one an aisle seat but still next to each other.

All suggestions welcome!! Xx

Isn't BD a middle on one side and an aisle on the other? Wouldn't CD make more sense?

I've done aisle across from each other then you can both get up to get things from the overhead for baby without having to shuffle around and you can hand baby back and forth as needed.

Haha sorry CD is what I meant!

We always book the aisle and middle. Always the chance no one will book the window or they might move if there's a spare seat.

Middle and aisle. You'll need an aisle seat to minimise disruption on your row.

We picked middle and aisle on the 2 holidays we went on before dd was 2 and both times we got lucky and ended up with the whole row to ourselves.

Fingers crossed that happens for you - it's a god send

We didn't bother booking, just checkedin as soo as it was open online.

If we did i would pick window and middle

I wouldn't go for CD where you're across the aisle from each other. DS was a fidget pants when awake so we needed one of us in the middle to shield the passenger on the other side from his reach! Also when he dozed off, he could lie across both our laps with the armrest up.

How long is the flight? If you're not likely to need to get up, I'd go AB and keep DC in A, I'd longer then poss BC.

*if longer

How long is your flight? Daylight flights or night? Are there no bassinets available (like car seats that fit on special shelves).
