Tripped over baby :-(

I feel terrible... Just walked out of the kitchen carrying something and didn't notice that the baby had crawled into the doorway. I think I stood on her wee hand but am not sure. She cried a lot but have given her a feed and she seems ok. Anything I should be looking out for apart from bruises? Neither hand seems to be bothering her, all fingers moving fine. Poor thing :-(

Oh bless you - I’ve gone that a good five times I reckon (I have twins and when they were crawling it was so easy for one to sneak up on you while wrangling the other!). Keep an eye for swelling, bruising or her not wanting to use her hand, otherwise I wouldn’t worry too much. And have a glass of something when she’s in bed!

Don't worry, I once tripped over someone else's baby at a stay & play. Sad

Don't panic I did it so frequently I threatened to attach bells to DC!

Thanks everyone, she is blowing raspberries and trying to eat the coffee table as usual so doesn't seem to be suffering!
@Chippychipsforme yes at least it's my own baby and nobody else was here to see me. You must have been Blush.

I trip over my toddler all the time. Keep an eye on her arms and legs. If she can't squeeze her hands properly or wiggle her toes or move properly then get it looked at. But I'm sure it'll be fine!

Oh and by the way, one day one of my boys started crawling round with one arm bent and hanging in front of his chest. I was literally heading out the door to A&E when I noticed a tiny loop of thread from his sleeve caught around his finger that was stopping him from straightening his arm. So if you do see a problem, look for threads first Grin

I assumed that everyone had done this? Grin Don't Fret OP.

I read online that if the crying stops in less than ten minutes it can’t be serious. It’s been true so far.
