What to do with disposable liners?

Might be getting ahead of myself as DD isn't expected for a few more weeks, but I've bought some miosolo nappies second hand and hoping to use them (also going to get a trial set of other brands) as soon as she's big enough/it's practical. They came with a load of biodegradable liners, I know you're not meant to flush them so I wondered how best to dispose of them. Individual bags seems environmentally unfriendly and fiddly, so I was thinking a small lidded bin for them but will it start smelling really bad?

I know fleece liners are an option but I'm thinking since DH is in the 'open to but not 100% convinced' camp with reusables, he might be less likely to get put off if he can chuck the pooey liners away before washing.

Most will be wet not soiled, so they can go straight in the bin. The others in a nappy bag then I would probably bring to the outside bin, or in a lidded bin to be emptied at the end of the day.

Good luck with your new arrival.

What about biodegradable food waste bin bags instead of nappy bags for the pooey ones?

Both good ideas, thank you both. I was thinking a zip lock type bag could also work, that way we can add more to the bag then bin it at the end of the day.

I use Little lambs and got a roll of their disposable liners included with the kit - if I’m honest they’re more faff than the fleecy liners! I chuck the whole nappy plus liner in the mesh bag in the nappy bucket ready to go in the wash if I use the fleecy liner whereas the disposable liners get stuck to the wet poo on her bum and is a hassle and a bit gross to unstick! 😂 basically trying to say there seems to more chance of poop-touching when I use the disposable liners than the fleecy ones!

To get rid of them i just roll them up with a square of loo roll and take them down to the main bin which is emptied often.
