Hey, ☺️ so my son is going on holiday with his dad in june and the other day his dad said in a casual way 'i am going to get pissed you know' well now im worrying. Its just them two going and its abroad... im pregnant so maybe im being unreasonable but in my opinion he needs to be fully responsible. Fair enough a few drinks but not drunk surely?
I dont want to come across as the naggy mum but my concern is obviously for my sons well being.

Ill just add his dad is brilliant, usually very hands on and responsible but he does have an extremely laid back view on some things.
Whats your opinions? Thank you xx

How old is your son?

I wouldn’t be thrilled, but my response would dictated by the child’s age.

You can’t be drunk when in charge of a 5 year old!! A couple of glasses of wine with your dinner? Fair enough when you’re on holiday. But deliberately to set out to get ratarsed? Unbelievably irresponsible.

Why are you concerned about being ‘unnaggy’? He’s in the wrong, not you, I’d actually be considering cancelling the holiday if he can’t behave like a responsible adult and father
