Brushing teeth

My dd is 10 months. Long story short she hates the toothbrush but when she is a sleeping she will happily let me brush her teeth well and doesn't care! But it needs to be 2 times a day and the morning is a issue. Any advice?? I don't want to force her down and brush her teeth like all these videos do

Get her a chewable toothbrush and just let her chew it a bit in the morning.

You don't need to worry massively about brushing in the morning at 10 months old. Presumably she isn't eating massive amounts of sugar? If her diet is healthy and she gets a good brush once a day it's fine.

@NuffSaidSam hi thanks for your response. No she doesn't have a lot of sugar. I definitely try keep her from that, no sweet things etc unless she has natural from eg fruit. I just think it will be tricky as she's older if I don't get her used to the morning brush routine as she won't be used too it? But you say to give her a chewable toothbrush so I see that will probably get her used to having it in the morning I can then gradually try brush them as she's a few months older maybe :)

Keep trying with the toothbrush, try with paste and without, try dry and wet, try letting her hold it etc, but don't worry about it.

They change so quickly...something they're fine with today they might hate tomorrow and vice versa. You may well get her used to it now and then she'll hate it in 6 months! There's no value in stressing about forming good habits at this age...she'll change a hundred times in the next few years!
