My 6 year old is still wearing pull ups at night and I know plenty who are. He has had on and off problems with day time wetting and one of the nurses we saw at a clinic talked about some children lacking the hormone that concentrates urine at night, and they can take a synthetic version. To be honest though, I think 6 is too young for that so your little one sounds too young too. I know there are loads of threads that talk about lifting them at night, but it all sounds like a hassle to me. So no great advice sorry, just my experience...

how wet is the nappy Soph?

ds2 is 2.7m and is dry during the day and most nights but I still put a nappy on him because he went thru a phase of wetting the bed and it drove me mad at 3am!!

I buy the dead dead cheap Sains nappies for £1.49 for 20 and they are fine. He wasnt sodden though.

i have a feeling that most of it first thing in the morning. however, he definitely still wees in the night or at least did last time we tried it....and the time before.

he wants to stop being in nappies and keeps asking not to wear them so he 'can sleep naked like mummy and daddy'.

his daytime bladder control is amazing, he can go most of the day if he wants to, takes himself to the loo et.

My ds2 was dry night and day at 2.6 - then earlier this year he started wetting the bed again, then we started lifting him, then we went back into cloth, now we're in disp spierman ones as they cloth ones rubbed him. We rerally don;t know how to get him back dry again - but not going to do the lifting or wet sheets again - nightmare!
