My 10 week old rainbow baby is teething really badly. He was born 6 weeks premature, my health visitor has told me I can not use anything on him as he was prem and I have to wait till he is 3months old by his due date and not 3 months by his birth date. Anyone any idea what I could use. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this mummy is getting no sleep day or night. 😢 and neither is my poor wee boy. He is up every hour xx 😘

Let him chew on your fingers!! (Obviously good hand hygiene) You can get little gloves that they can chew on too which massages the gums too. The dentinox teething gel is suitable from birth I'm sure.

Dummy in the fridge? My little one finds it very soothing.

I was asking because increased salvia production and chewing hands are developmental mile stones and are often mistaken for teething.

Octonoughtcake, aww I had no idea that they were milestones as well. It never crossed my mind that he was teething. Until I took him to the doctor, as his cheeks were bright red and he wasn't feeding very well x

I'll definitely try the dummy in the fridge. Thank you so much x
