What is your typical day as SAHM of toddler?

Currently a SAHM to 22 month old DD. Just wondering what others with similar age children do on an average day? Always worrying if we’re “doing enough” while also being aware of all the jobs that need doing around the house! (While then worrying while I’m doing these, DD is playing alone!) Blush

It's good for that age to learn to play independently so don't worry about that.

We spend a lot of time outside walking/ playing. We go to playgroup two/three times a week. I've got a big roll of paper, colouring books and crayons etc that they entertain themselves with.

Sometimes we do baking or okay with playdoh.

Stuff is still quite orientated around meal times and nap times though - I have a just turned 2 year old and an 11 month old so that's going to be the reality for a while.

3 year old here so slightly different as she attends nursery two days a week but on the days we are both home together

We tend to get up and have a slow morning of playing / tidying / breakfast and then get ready
Then we leave home around 10 and visit my mum or go to the park or shops etc
Usually home around 3pm again and then it's tv for DD and I do some small chores
Then dinner for her at 5pm and dp is home at 5.30 ish and plays with DD until bedtime

Out in morning - usually to something with other adults for my socialisation - indoor or outdoor playgroups - toddler walks - not fond of classes, prefer free play. Back in afternoon - ds naps - I do whatever - then go and pick up elder child from school - make dinner - eat with kids.

Nearly 4 year old and 18m old. DS is in nursery 3 mornings a week, so those days my DH drops him off and DD and I either go to the supermarket or other errands, or we go to a mum and baby exercise class once a week or we go to play dates with friends with same age little ones. Usually park, library or someone’s house. Then lunch around 12. Pick DS up at 12.30, home for nap time which is approx 1-3 and we normally just potter at home in the afternoons. Play with toys/play doh/crafts or play in the garden or go to the nearby park. Dinner around 5.30 for the kids and then bed is 7pm. DH usually gets home around 6.30

On DS non nursery days we normally have a bigger play date planned, like soft play or a bigger playground. Once a week he has a sports class. We either eat lunch out or at home but we’re still usually home for nap time and our afternoons are the same

21m old here but he's at nursery pt. We both go stir crazy in the house (he brings me his shoes and says out from 8am) so we go outside for 9am and will do rhyme time/tumble tots/swimming/playgroup and generally run an errand or two. Lunch at 12 then nap 1230-2. In the afternoon we go to the park or have a play date. Dinner at 430-5 and bed at 7.

A bit cliched but look at the organised mum method for cleaning.
