Baby naps - same routine for bedtime?

Hi everyone,
My baby is 4 months and we are getting into a good bedtime routine now and so I am keen to encourage baby to sleep on her cot for her daytime naps.
Do people do the same routine for bedtime as they do for daytime naps?
Does this confuse your baby?

At bedtime I have a sleeping bag, white noise, massage and dark room.
Should I do the above for daytime naps? I'm worried it will mess up our bedtime routine and she will be confused.

Thank you

Hi I've a 5 month old and for naps he sleeps in his pram, it's the only way he will nap. At night we have bath time, bottle, dark room and he goes in his next to me and settles himself he has done since around 2 month old. It doesn't affect his bedtime one bit him sleeping in a different place in the day but then again every baby is different Smile

I introduced a solid bedtime like you at an early age and he took to it brilliantly. Once I had this established I then did a mini version for naps. So into dark room, feed, cuddle and into bed. Some people say don't let them sleep in a dark room for the day but my boy always sleeps better in the dark and that's fine with me. Every baby is different. Now he is 8 months I am stopping slowly to feed before naps as I am bf and it means no one else can put him down for a nap. I've just been gradually moving feed earlier before naps and downstairs as opposed to in his room.
