2yr old still incredibly dribbly

Well he's nearly two, he's been dribbly forever and constantly so it's not related to teething. He can soak through two layers in an few houses He often sits with his mouth open, is it just that? How do we stop him doing that or will he just grow out of it?

He's not a massive talker, and most of what he does say is only decipherable by us, he says "aah" instead of "car", "bu" instead of "bus" etc. Not sure if that is relevant.

Anyone with experience of this?

What’s his sleeping like? Any sleep apnea or snoring? I assume he mouth breaths.

Large adenoids and/ or tonsils are a likely cause or even poor muscle strength in the mouth. Does he have a dummy?

Lots of mouth exercises and I would probably raise it at his two year check with the HV.

He hasn't got a tongue tie has he? My sons wasn't discovered until he was 15 Months.

Sleep isn't great, used to be AWFUL but better although wakes a couple of times generally. He's a very heavy mouth breather yes! In fact I did mention it to the gp when he was a baby and she said they wouldn't do anything until he is at least two. My dh had lots of ent problems as a kid, glue ear/ large adenoids, tonsils out and grommets etc.

Either way I would take him to the Gp for a chat.
