Working mum struggles

Hi all
Does anyone else feel that trying to balance work, being a mum, being a wife and being your yourself is sometimes a struggle?
I work as hard as I can to ensure I put myself in the best position for a pay rise, I try to spend as much time with my lb as I can. Whatever I do around the house (housework) is never enough or good enough in my husbands eyes. I would love time to work out, I am not the weight I want to be and do not feel good about my appearance at the moment. I guess I feel that I am not going a good enough job. Does anyone else feel like this

Always!

Well he can do better then, he lives there too. You're not his employee.
Balance is a challenge, and having what sounds like an unsupportive partner does not help.

Why is the housework judged by your dh when presumably you both work?

Total know what you mean! Its a constant plate spinning act, whwre you have to constantly accept lowering your own expectations. I'm much more relaxed about it all than I used to be. Being a bit more of 'just enough is good enough' helps me get through. Although:

Sounds like your husband needs to do more around the house. Maybe he'll understand what you're up against a bit more if he takes some responsibility for it.

You need to follow ‘the man who has it all’ on Facebook or Twitter

Sounds as if you are doing as much as you can fit me. How do you divide childcare, shopping, laundry, cooking, housework etc? Could you not go to the gym a couple of evenings for a class - might help you feel more positive?
