Where to sit on Easyjet flight with 6 month old baby?

Hi I'm flying to Turkey in April via easyJet and I'm trying to book my seats and wanted to know where is the best place to sit with a 6 month old baby.

I'll be travelling with my mother too so we want to sit together and take turns caring for the baby.

I don’t think where on the plane matters too much (in terms of row number), but I would get a middle and an aisle seat.

I flew easyJet alone with my then 8 month old and we had an aisle seat around row 9 or so. You will get priority boarding anyway. But you’ll likely be up and down quite a bit so need to be on an aisle.

I recommend checking as much as you can and only bringing essentials on board. I volunteered to gate check my bag (they do if for free) and just took changing bag and sling on board.

We flew with our five month old recently and sat in the middle and aisle seat at the back of the plane - right by the baby change toilet. Made it really easy to change DS and also when he got a bit cranky there was a little space to walk around with him.

Also just as a tip, definitely check your pram in at check in and use a baby carrier/sling at the airport if you have one. I didn't have to take him out of it at security so meant he stayed snoozing!

It depends! It’s noisier at the back of the plane, although this can be a good thing if your baby is particularly noisy and if you need to regularly use the toilet or breastfeed.
If you choose to sit at the front, you may get a speedier getaway once you land.
Or you may like to sit just behind the wing, where it’s less bumpy during turbulence.
The bulkhead seats can be a really good place in terms of having lots of legroom, but be aware that in many aircraft that means there will be no place to put bags under the seat in front of you. This can be a big problem if you will need to frequently access snacks, toys, etc. from your bag. You may have to sit in the bulkhead if you need a bassinet on an international flight as they are often in that location.
